What are Digital Phonics Games?
Digital Phonics Games are hands-on digital activities for Google Classroom. You can use them for an assignment, independent practice, early finisher work, or literacy centers.
Here’s a quick video about what these games look like. They’re designed for pre-k to first-grade students.
Note: Play these games in EDIT mode not presentation mode.
The best part is all you have to do is click the link in the file, make a copy, and you are ready to assign it to your students.
They’re Self-Checking games!
What distinguishes these digital games from other digital games is that they are self-checking. Students can check their work by moving the magnifying glass to the side. This allows them to self-monitor.
Additionally, there are a variety of games: drag and drop, fill in the blank, or a combination of both. This will help students to stay engaged.
